La COPARMEX nace el 26 de Septiembre de 1929, por iniciativa del industrial regiomontano Don Luis G. Sada, quien en la Convenci\u00f3n de Delegaciones Industriales de la Confederaci\u00f3n de C\u00e1maras Nacionales de Comercio e Industria, dio a conocer su idea de formar una organizaci\u00f3n distinta a las C\u00e1maras constituidas por disposici\u00f3n legal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

En el acta constitutiva de Coparmex se establece que esta sociedad funcionar\u00e1 por medio de Centros Regionales (Centros Patronales\/Centros Empresariales) y un Consejo Directivo General.<\/p>\n
Coparmex Mexicali tiene el honor de ser el primer centro de este tipo que se establece en noroeste del pa\u00eds, gracias a la visi\u00f3n y tes\u00f3n del empresario (Sonorense-Cachanilla) Norberto Corella Gilsamaniego, presidente fundador, del que inicialmente se llam\u00f3 Centro Patronal de Baja California.<\/p>\n
La protocolizaci\u00f3n oficial se realiz\u00f3 el 3 de marzo de 1958, en la Notar\u00eda N\u00famero 6 del Lic. Gonzalo Gonz\u00e1lez \u00c1lvarez. El registro se hizo ante la Junta Central de Conciliaci\u00f3n y Arbitraje el 3 de junio del mismo a\u00f1o. Los concurrentes expresaron en forma un\u00e1nime su voluntad de formar una organizaci\u00f3n con fundamento a lo que dispone el art\u00edculo 27 de los estatutos de la Confederaci\u00f3n Patronal de la Rep\u00fablica Mexicana.<\/p>\n
El Centro Patronal de Baja California cambi\u00f3 su nombre a Centro Patronal de Mexicali en 1965, siendo as\u00ed presidente del Consejo el Ing. Antonio G. Basich; el 1 de julio de 1981, durante la presidencia del Consejo Directivo del licenciado Eugenio Elorduy Walther, se modificaron los estatutos que dieron lugar a que en lo sucesivo se le denominara Centro Empresarial de Mexicali.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
